Which Operator for What Door
Remember, all of the capabilities shown may only be achievable with a correctly balanced door. Any garage door that is not correctly balanced should not have an electric operator fitted to it – it is a highly dangerous practice to use an operator to overcome poor opening action on any garage door.

Boom Lengths

K boom: Up and over doors up to 2.5 metres high, sectional doors with N tracks up to 2.25 metres high, sectional doors with Z or L tracks up to 2.125 metres high.

M boom: Up and over doors up to 2.75 metres high, sectional doors with N tracks up to 2.5 metres high, sectional doors with Z or L tracks up to 2.375 metres high.

L boom: Sectional doors with N, Z or L tracks up to 3 metres high.
